Questions

Live-in care, answered.

Does a live-in caregiver sleep at the home?

Yes. A live-in caregiver stays in the home and must have a private space and an uninterrupted sleep break. If your loved one needs help often during the night, 24-hour shift care is usually the safer choice.

Is live-in care more affordable than assisted living?

It depends on the level of care. Many families find one-on-one care at home compares well, especially for couples. You’ll receive a clear written proposal after a complimentary consultation.

Will it always be the same caregiver?

We match a primary caregiver to your loved one and plan relief coverage, so your family always sees familiar faces.

Are live-in caregivers CNAs?

Yes. Every Premium Care caregiver is a Certified Nursing Assistant, supervised by a licensed Registered Nurse.
